Dacula Athletic Association Annual Elections
Elections for Executive Board Members, Baseball, Cheerleading, Football and Softball Boards are held annually the last Sunday in October. Elections for Basketball are usually held annually in late March.
We have applications for Sport Board and Sport Director/Executive Board that each nominee must fill out to be reviewed by the nominating committee for verification of qualifications.
The Executive Board consists of 11 positions.

Rules, Guidelines & Qualifications
If an Executive Board member or Sports Board member resigns or is removed during their term,
they may not be appointed or elected to the Board, as an officer, or to a committee until
three (3) years has passed from the date of their resignation or removal, unless approved
by the Board to stand for election.
Up to one-half of each
Sports Board members shall be elected on a staggered-term
basis with one-half retiring each year.
All members of the Executive Board are expected to be in attendance at all Board meetings whether it is a regularly scheduled meeting or a meeting called by the President. If a Board member cannot attend a meeting, he/she must notify the President or President-Elect or Secretary at least eight (8) hours before the meeting begins.
All Executive Board and Sports Committee members are required to pass a background check before they can officially serve on a board.
